DESIGN DRAFTER (Orchard Park, New York): Qualified candidates must have a minimum 2 year degree in the field of Computer Aided Design and 5 years component design experience, preferably in the aerospace industry. Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing as well as ANSI drawing standards knowledge is required. Must be 3-D CAD Modeling proficient. Position will support the engineering team through efficient generation 3-D CAD models and 2-D detail drawings.

MANUFACTURING ENGINEER (Orchard Park, New York): Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of a Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree and a minimum of 3 years experience in Aerospace, Medical or Automotive Fields. Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma skills are preferred as well as knowledge and understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic components and assemblies. Responsibilities include preparation and maintenance of online documents and network routings. Familiarity or experience with joining, fastening, packaging, high level cleanliness and delicate part handling knowledge a plus. This position will also analyze and develop new processes or adjust current processes for optimal throughput. Developed interpersonal skills and the desire to work within a team structure are essential.

QUALITY ENGINEER (Orchard Park, New York): Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Engineering degree and have 3-5 years manufacturing experience. Lean Six Sigma Certified (CTI or equivalent) is required as well as the ability to work in a team environment. Must possess knowledge of DFMA tools and knowledge of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems. The incumbent will: • Review customer’s RFQs, contracts and flow-down of customer contractual quality requirements or quality system requirements to Carleton and it’s suppliers • Generate and communicate customer data packages for shipped products • Participate in customer return process to include failure analysis and corrective action • Conduct supplier audits and act as the Carleton liaison during customer/government audits and inspections • Generate inspection check lists, inspection criteria for purchased and manufactured parts and submit dock to stock part candidates • Communicate with team, suppliers, customers and the government regarding all quality related issues This position will drive preventative and corrective actions and continuous improvement.
