ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER (Orchard Park, New York): The Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager will lead in the development, implementation and maintenance of the Environmental, Health and Safety program for the Cobham Orchard Park, NY and Westminster, MD sites. Will work with the Facilities group on waste reduction opportunities (materials, energy/utility consumption) and safe operating practices. TACTICAL SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER (Orchard Park, New York): Minimum requirements – Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in procurement. Must have the ability to lead, facilitate progressive change and deal effectively with all levels of management. Working knowledge of business finance and ability to link financial outcomes with operational actions and strategy is required. Drives operational performance through performance management board data reviews and execution of strategies. The incumbent will drive inventory reduction through root cause analysis, developing strategies with the Strategic Supply Chain team. Additional responsibilities include: improving operational metrics; ensuring all operation processes are carried out in accordance with quality and environmental systems and procedures; assisting and supporting sector business strategy and organizational transformation. Will develop a best in class Planning and Procurement team and drive continuous improvement through data analysis. Additionally will promote adherence to standard work to ensure site alignment within the function, while still supporting teams in Value Streams.

MANUFACTURING ENGINEER (Orchard Park, New York): Minimum requirements - Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related with manufacturing experience. The incumbent must have working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic systems. The responsibilities of this opportunity are to manage the creation of standard work and standard cycle times. The candidate shall possess excellent organizational, communication, leadership, personal computing, performance management, continuous improvement and problem solving skills. Will drive continuous improvement, utilize Lean Six Sigma tools to reduce waste and variation in processes focused on improving KPI’s. Additionally will support visual management effort in manufacturing area and may be responsible for a Special Process. Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred.

DESIGN ENGINEER (Orchard Park, New York): Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and knowledgeable in core engineering principles including statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer and control systems. Must have the ability to work effectively within a cross functional team and have sound problem resolution, judgment and decision making skills. STOCK ROOM CLERK (Orchard Park, New York): Minimum requirements - Two year technical degree preferred and 1 – 3 years of material management/stock room experience required. Must have the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Possess organizational and communication skills. Working knowledge of Carleton Systems and Procedures, Oracle Operating System and basic computer literacy. Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, Cellular Manufacturing, One Piece Flow, and Continuous Improvement Concepts. Job Requirements - Material handling responsibilities associated with receiving parts, repackaging parts, transacting parts, counting parts, and stocking parts within the main company Stock Room and also within the manufacturing floor teams and cells. Participate in 5S cell efforts and continuous improvement. Ability to lift and move parts and product up to 50 lbs.

TECHNICIAN (Orchard Park, New York): Associates Degree preferred in Mechanical/Electrical Technology and 1-3 years of manufacturing experience required. Experience with mechanical assembly operations and blueprint reading. Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, Cellular Manufacturing and One Piece Flow. Responsible for following detailed work instructions to assemble and test various complex pneumatic components. Working knowledge of high pressure a plus as well as general knowledge of performing assembly and testing of production hardware within the confines of the systems and procedures. The incumbent will work under the direction of the product support technician as well as participate in 5S cell efforts and continuous improvement. Organizational and communication skills required to coordinate with manufacturing team lead regarding specific production needs to ensure on-time delivery.
