TECHNICIAN (Orchard Park, New York): 1st Shift Opportunity (Monday - Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm). Opportunities available for experienced assembly and test technicians. Associates Degree preferred in Mechanical/Electrical Technology or Carleton equivalent and 1-3 years of manufacturing experience required. Experience with mechanical assembly operations and blueprint reading. Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, Cellular Manufacturing and One Piece Flow. Responsible for following detailed work instructions to assemble and test various complex pneumatic components. Working knowledge of high pressure a plus as well as general knowledge of performing assembly and testing of production hardware within the confines of the systems and procedures. The incumbent will work under the direction of the product support technician as well as participate in 5S cell efforts and continuous improvement. Organizational and communication skills required to coordinate with manufacturing team lead regarding specific production needs to ensure on-time delivery.

TECHNICIAN - MOLD ROOM (Orchard Park, New York): Minimum requirements - 1-3 years of manufacturing experience and an understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, Cellular Manufacturing, One Piece Flow and Continuous Improvement concepts. Qualified candidate will possess proficiency in Oracle Operating System as well as strong organization and communication skills to coordinate with the Manufacturing Technician Leader regarding specific production needs (part availability, equipment, production status, and schedule updates) to ensure on-time delivery. The mold room technician position requires frequent lifting of molds and materials that are less than 20lbs. Physical mobility is a necessity as the technicians travel between the mold loading bench and the mold presses many times throughout the day. Finger dexterity and repeated hand motions are required for loading the molds. These operations involve repeated sitting, mold carrying and standing to meet the daily production requirements. Material testing, performed several times a week, requires climbing several steps and overhead arm motion to load the pull testing machine. Steady hands and good vision are imperative in the part trimming process which in performed under a microscope.

3rd SHIFT PLANT CLEANER (Orchard Park, New York): Minimum requirements - Must possess organization and communication skills to comply with work policies. Must have the ability to work effectively in a team environment, assist the cross training of other plant cleaners, and identify improvement opportunities. - The responsibilities will include general office cleaning as well as cleaning in our plant, which is a certified clean room area. Ideal candidate will have experience in using a buffer, auto scrubber and carpet extractor as well as other general plant cleaning experience. The hours of this position are 8:30 pm to 5:00 am. Sunday through Thursday nights. Some weekend availability is required.

Westminster, Maryland Opportunities

COMPOSITE ASSEMBLER (Westminster, Maryland): Minimum requirements - Must have good mechanical aptitude and strong problem solving skill set. Minimum of three years experience operating automated machinery as well as use of measurement tools and equipment. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and sustain prolonged standing. This position provides assembly and testing support for operations. The incumbent may fabricate and assemble parts from fiber reinforced plastics (composites) and assorted materials, such as metal and honeycomb in a production environment. Participation in continuous improvement efforts and special process certification maintenance and compliance with work policies and safety issues related to programs is expected.
