PROGRAM PROJECT MANAGER (Orchard Park, New York): Minimum requirements - Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Business discipline and five years experience in an aerospace/DOD contractor environment. Candidate must have practical experience with project management practices including work breakdown structure, scheduling, resource management, risk management and assessment, cost account management, cost estimating and planning. Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project required; earned value management experience a plus. The incumbent must also be willing to travel to support customers. – Responsible for executing the day to day activities of a technical project or program. In addition to executing projects in compliance with Cobham Life Cycle Management, this position will support new business proposals, support continuous improvement initiatives, support the five year planning and business forecasting processes, and is accountable to oversee the results of multi functional project teams. The incumbent will act as customer liaison providing the administrative/operational leadership of a project within the program guidelines as set by Cobham and the customer. Cross functional team management is essential to ensure work scope, schedule and budget are well defined and maintained. Successful candidate will provide the coordination between resource managers / supervisors and ensure all necessary reviews and approvals are received.

TACTICAL SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER (Orchard Park, New York): Minimum requirements – Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in procurement. Must have the ability to lead, facilitate progressive change and deal effectively with all levels of management. Working knowledge of business finance and ability to link financial outcomes with operational actions and strategy is required. Drives operational performance through performance management board data reviews and execution of strategies. The incumbent will drive inventory reduction through root cause analysis, developing strategies with the Strategic Supply Chain team. Additional responsibilities include: improving operational metrics; ensuring all operation processes are carried out in accordance with quality and environmental systems and procedures; assisting and supporting sector business strategy and organizational transformation. MANUFACTURING ENGINEER (Orchard Park, New York): Minimum requirements - Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related with manufacturing experience. The incumbent must have working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic systems. The responsibilities of this opportunity are to manage the creation of standard work and standard cycle times. QUALITY ENGINEER (Orchard Park, New York): Minimum requirements – Bachelor’s Engineering degree or related with manufacturing experience. Lean Six Sigma Certification. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems. Ability to work effectively in a team environment with developed organizational, communication, leadership, personal computing, performance management, continuous improvement and problem solving skills. - This position will drive quality improvement initiatives and root cause and corrective action. The incumbent will lead quality engineering support for value streams and product lines. Key Responsibilities: • Review customer’s RFQs, contracts and flow-down of customer contractual quality requirements or quality system requirements to Carleton and its suppliers • Generate and communicate customer data packages for shipped products Process MDRs and ECOs• Participate in customer return process to include failure analysis and corrective action • Conduct supplier audits and act as the Carleton liaison during customer/government audits and inspections Analyze and trend quality data within value stream to drive preventive and corrective actions and continuous improvement. • Generate inspection check lists, inspection criteria for purchased and manufactured parts and submit dock to stock part candidates • Communicate with team, suppliers, customers and the government regarding all quality related issues.

DESIGN ENGINEER (Orchard Park, New York): Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and knowledgeable in core engineering principles including statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer and control systems. PLANNER/BUYER (Orchard Park, New York): Minimum requirements - Bachelors Degree and 3-5 years experience in Planning and Purchasing. Must have a working knowledge of MRP, purchasing, work in progress, inventory modules of Oracle ERP system, and a solid understanding of materials management methodologies. Position requires excellent organizational, communication, computer, negotiation, and leadership skills. - This position will execute planning and buying activities in support of all products related to a specific value stream for the Aerospace and Defense Industry. Responsible for supplier and customer on-time delivery, and inventory levels. Will identify preferred material planning method for each item based on Carleton Technologies Inc. best practices. The incumbent will develop level schedule, planning method of parts, and monitoring and maintenance of parts to meet value stream performance metrics. Responsibilities include monitoring and adjusting material planning methods in response to changes in customer demand, determining levels of inventory to meet organizational metrics, and developing and monitoring plans to reduce/eliminate excess and slow moving inventory. The incumbent will work with operations and sales and marketing to develop level loaded production based on capacity and customer needs. Candidate will also work with finance to address any payment issues and negotiate and administer purchase orders in support of production needs. Experience with government contracts and lean principles a plus.

TECHNICIAN (Orchard Park, New York): Associates Degree preferred in Mechanical/Electrical Technology and 1-3 years of manufacturing experience required. Experience with mechanical assembly operations and blueprint reading. Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, Cellular Manufacturing and One Piece Flow. Responsible for following detailed work instructions to assemble and test various complex pneumatic components. Working knowledge of high pressure a plus as well as general knowledge of performing assembly and testing of production hardware within the confines of the systems and procedures. The incumbent will work under the direction of the product support technician as well as participate in 5S cell efforts and continuous improvement. Organizational and communication skills required to coordinate with manufacturing team lead regarding specific production needs to ensure on-time delivery.
