MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT (Orchard Park, New York): Minimum requirements - Bachelor's Accounting Degree and at least four years experience of CPA firm with manufacturing audit experience and/or private industry experience with a manufacturing entity. Position requires strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Qualified candidate must possess logical/critical thinking skills. - The incumbent will schedule and manage the budget/forecast process. Management reporting and financial modeling required. Additional responsibilities to include management accounting support for internal value streams, 5 year plan financial analysis and completing preliminary commentary for monthly report. CMA a plus.

SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEERS (Orchard Park, New York): Minimum requirements - Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. Seven years design experience as well as FEA, SolidWorks, Matlab, Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics and System Modeling. Familiarity with compressible fluid flow concepts is required. - The incumbent is responsible for leading internal efforts for the development of novel new products. Other responsibilities will include interfacing and providing support to a cross functional team to resolve component level or system level challenges that arise during existing hardware production. Mentoring of junior design engineers is also a critical aspect of this role. An understanding of electro-mechanical and pneumatic designs is desired. Specific knowledge of aerospace component level or system level design experience is preferred.

SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER (Orchard Park, New York): Minimum requirements - Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. Twelve years of component level or system level design experience in the aerospace industry. Five years experience in the modeling and simulation of complex mechanical, pneumatic or electro-mechanical systems. Requires strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills as well as an understanding of pneumatic designs. - The incumbent will develop and maintain guidelines for device systems and is responsible for the creation of the system architecture to ensure reliable system function, writing system specifications and design descriptions, defining critical interfaces between sub-systems and managing sub-system interactions to ensure proper system function. The position will plan and perform system validation activities to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and specifications and company standard operating procedures including system hazards analysis and adjust system architecture to mitigate hazards.

PRINCIPAL ENGINEER (Orchard Park, New York): Minimum requirements - Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering along with 8-10 years of progressively responsible experience in developing and delivering products in a defense contractor environment. Must have proficiency in the new development process as well as design for manufacturing, knowledge of lean engineering and six sigma. The candidate will assist project engineers in building and executing effective engineering plans as well as ongoing design improvement strategies while taking in account cost and schedule constraints. The candidate will work multiple projects in parallel. Masters degree preferred as well proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

SENIOR TEST ENGINEER (Orchard Park, New York): Minimum requirements - Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering including eight years experience in aerospace design and hands-on testing. Must have excellent computer skills, knowledge and experience with Labview data acquisition software and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Contract documentation and government/industry standards and specifications is required. – Position provides direction for the successful completion of development test programs at Carleton. The incumbent will ensure compliance to contractual test requirements through development and support of processes, plans and procedures. Experience in the design of test set ups and fixtures for pressure, load and vibration testing is preferred.

In addition to program management duties, this position requires regular direct interaction with key customers. The incumbent will plan and execute multiple development engineering design and manufacturing programs for defense, defense related and aerospace products. Programs include elements of design, analysis, materials and process development, test and evaluation of structures and components. Additional requirements include experience in change management and consensus building. Successful individual must have computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments to form strong relationships.
