VIPER Rebreathers
VIPER rebreathers incorporate the best features of the SIVA and CCBA product lines in a new, dramatically streamlined backpack and featuring twin, chest-mounted, counterlungs. This arrangement enhances the diver's effectiveness by offering extremely low work of breathing and the ability to swim in currents and work in surge conditions. The VIPER-SC uses conventional semi-closed gas controls while the VIPER-E uses proven closed-circuit electronic controls with advanced digital data recovery technology. A kit permits VIPER-SC customers to convert their equipment to VIPER-E units at any time in the service life of the equipment. VIPER is designed specifically for MCM and Special Forces operations to 55 meters in the semi-closed mode and to 90 meters in the electronic closed circuit mode.
