SIVA Rebreathers

SIVA rebreathers were developed specifically for underwater mine countermeasures (MCM) and Special Forces operations. They are robust, simple to operate and easy to maintain in the field. There are many common parts among the four SIVA products resulting in reduced logistics support and the ability to upgrade to more advanced models in the product line.

Common Key Features:

  • Robust and highly reliable - low through life costs
  • Field maintainable by divers; factory maintenance not required
  • Complies with US and NATO acoustic and non-magnetic standard without special storage, handling or degaussing
  • Finger tight fittings; yoke or DIN charging connections
  • Long endurance, radial flow scrubber cartridge
  • A variety of full face masks can be fitted
  • Can be calibrated for closed circuit oxygen operations for covert swimming
  • Counterlungs are impervious to UV radiation, rot, mildew and hydrocarbon fuels

Products:

SIVA S-10
A closed circuit chest mounted apparatus using 100% oxygen developed specifically for Special Forces operations and shallow water MCM.

SIVA S-24
A chest mounted apparatus for closed circuit operations using 100% oxygen and/or premixed oxygen-nitrogen gases in a semi-closed mode to 24 meters. The S-24 is used for both MCM and Special Forces operations.

SIVA-55
A conventional semi-closed circuit rebreather using pre-mixed gas for MCM operations to 55 meters with the capability of closed circuit oxygen operations. SIVA-55 may be converted to the SIVA + configuration via a modular upgrade kit.

SIVA +
A semi-closed circuit mixed gas rebreather that mixes oxygen and either nitrogen or helium to deliver gas to the diver at a constant partial pressure of oxygen to a depth of 90 meters for MCM operations.
