SIVA S-24 Multi-Role Shallow Water/MCM Diving Apparatus

The SIVA S-24 is a self-contained chest mounted apparatus developed for shallow water Mine Counter Measure (MCM) and covert shallow water operations. It can be used in a closed circuit mode using 100% oxygen to 8 meters and in a semi-closed circuit mixed gas mode to normally 24 meters. It may be used to 55 meters when calibrated and charged with the correct mixture for the maximum depth of the dive.

Features include:

  • Closed circuit 100% oxygen or semi-closed circuit mixed gas operation
  • Proven from Arctic to Equator
  • Quality Control certified to ISO 9001
  • Robust and reliable - Low Through Life Costs
  • Field maintainable by divers
  • Meets MCM, acoustic and non-magnetic standards without
    special storage, handling or degaussing
  • Uses NATO premixed nitrox or other appropriate mixtures
  • Finger tight fittings - Yoke or DIN charging connections
  • Fits variety of face masks
  • Counterlung is impervious to UV radiation, rot, mildew and hydrocarbon fuels
  • Converts from mixed gas to O2 operations
  • Small volume 4 hour cartridge style scrubber

Products:

SIVA S-10
A closed circuit chest mounted apparatus using 100% oxygen developed specifically for Special Forces operations and shallow water MCM.

SIVA S-24
A chest mounted apparatus for closed circuit operations using 100% oxygen and/or premixed oxygen-nitrogen gases in a semi-closed mode to 24 meters. The S-24 is used for both MCM and Special Forces operations.

SIVA-55
A conventional semi-closed circuit rebreather using pre-mixed gas for MCM operations to 55 meters with the capability of closed circuit oxygen operations. SIVA-55 may be converted to the SIVA + configuration via a modular upgrade kit.

SIVA +
A semi-closed circuit mixed gas rebreather that mixes oxygen and either nitrogen or helium to deliver gas to the diver at a constant partial pressure of oxygen to a depth of 90 meters for MCM operations.
